Ms. Cynthia Earich

The recipient of the May Staff Member of the Month for Wellsville Junior/Senior High School is Ms. Cynthia Earich.  Ms. Earich has been in the Wellsville School District for 11 years, 2 years as a member of the Intervention Team at Daw and 9 years as a science teacher in grades 7-12.  She has taught biology, anatomy, environmental science, science inquiry, 7th and 8th grade science and physical education to name a few.

Cynthia graduated from the University of Akron, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health, grades K-12.  Ms. Earich attended Franciscan University and received a degree in Life Science 7-12. She then returned to Franciscan University where she first earned a Masters in Education, with a strength in Curriculum Development, followed by a Masters in Educational Administration.  Ms. Earich has been the Science Club advisor for 8 years and the detention monitor for 5.  She is also a member of the Building Leadership Team.

Ms. Earich is an extremely dedicated professional, a woman who gives so much of herself and her time to Wellsville Schools.  She is one of the first to arrive each morning and often the last to leave at night.  Her students and colleagues describe her as positive, demanding, sincere, compassionate, kind and committed.  We are blessed to have her as part of our staff at Wellsville.

With as busy as she is at school, Ms. Earich still finds the time to train dogs and professionally compete in AKC events for herding, agility, obedience, and conformation.  In all venues, her dogs have been nationally ranked in the Top Ten of the country.

Congratulations Ms. Cynthia Earich and thank you for all that you do for Wellsville Schools.
