Mrs. Robin Weeda

Congratulations to Mrs. Robin Weeda, January Staff Member of the Month for Wellsville Junior/Senior High School.  Mrs. Weeda has been a teacher at Wellsville for 31 years, teaching students in grades 8 – 12.  She taught Intensive Business Education, or IBE, for 16 years at the old high school building.  From 2004 – 2018 in the new building, Mrs. Weeda has taught Intro to Computers, Personal Finance, and Web Page 1 and 2.

Mrs. Weeda received her Associates in OMRT from Kent State East Liverpool, then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Comprehensive Business Education from Youngstown State University.  She earned a Vocational Certificate from KSU and then a Masters degree from Marygrove College. 

Robin is known throughout the community because of all of the extracurricular activities she is involved in with the students.  She has been the Student Council advisor for 22 years so is in charge of events such as the Fall Homecoming, the Awards Assembly and Spring Fling.  Mrs. Weeda has been the Yearbook advisor for the past 17 years and the Tiger Rag advisor for 18.  You will see her at many activities taking pictures of the students for the yearbook.  She is a dedicated, professional educator who goes way above the norm to help the students in all facets of their education.  Mrs. Weeda is a facilitator on the Building Leadership Team and a member of the District Leadership Team.  She is a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church where she holds the office of financial secretary.  She also belongs to the Wellsville S.O.I. 657.

Robin is married to Mr. John Weeda who was a teacher in the District for 35 years.  They have two children, Mrs. Emilee Wilson and Mr. Christopher Weeda, one grandson, Eddie Wilson III and a granddaughter, due in May. 

Congratulations Mrs. Weeda and thank you for all that you do and all that you have done for the students and staff of Wellsville Junior/Senior High School.  We are so fortunate to have you as part of our staff.
