Mrs. Emilee Wilson

Congratulations to Mrs. Emilee Wilson, October Staff Member of the Month for Wellsville Junior/Senior High School.  Mrs. Wilson is beginning her sixth year as an Intervention Specialist at Wellsville, servicing grades 8 -12.  This year she is primarily teaching Math and English along with a new class called Helping Hands.  During her time here at Wellsville, she has also taught Junior High Journalism, Freshman English and Communications.

Mrs. Wilson graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2007 with a BA in Professional Communication.  She then received an Accelerated Certificate of Teaching in Secondary English in 2010 from WJU and then she furthered her education by receiving her Special Education Degree in 2013.  Since then she has completed all requirements to become HQT in the four core areas. In addition to her many contributions to Wellsville Schools, she is actively engaged in the Covenant Presbyterian Church where she is a Session member and the Missions treasurer.

Emilee is a dedicated educator who goes above and beyond to help her students achieve their academic and social potential.  This year, she and her students began “The Special Blend” (a coffee shop) – this is a business learning experience for her students in which they are able to gain knowledge about being an entrepreneur and will be able to apply these life skills in the workplace one day.   Mrs. Wilson is the sponsor of the Leo Club and also the
Spirit Club.  She is creative and energetic and is involved in many school events such as Veteran’s Day and Christmas for the Students.  She always has a smile on her face!

Mrs. Wilson, and her husband Eddie, have one son, also named Eddie, who is two and a half.  We are blessed to have Mrs. Wilson as part of our staff.  Congratulations and thank you for everything you do for the students at Wellsville Junior/Senior High School.
